Common Questions From Our Clients

Are Tattoos Safe?

Tattoos are created with ink inserted into the skin with repeated needle pokes. As with any procedure that involves a break in the skin, there is potential for infection, bleeding and pain. This is why being fully honest about your medical history, finding an experienced technician and following care instruction is so important.

Does it Hurt?

Tattooing involves repeatedly piercing your skin’s top layer with a sharp needle covered with pigment. So getting a tattoo is generally always painful. Everyone has a different tolerance for pain. Some people compared it to a "hot scratching feeling"-it does hurt. But the beauty of the tattoo and pride of wearing outweighs the pain. painless tattoo cream

Here are a few tips to minimize tattoo pain:

  • Choose a very experienced tattoo artist. Your tattoo artist should always wear clean gloves and use sterilized equipment.

  • It’s important to follow the tattoo aftercare instructions given to reduce pain and the risks of complications after your tattoo is finished.

  • Make sure you’ve gotten enough sleep before your tattoo. Having had sufficient sleep before a tattoo will make it easier for you to endure the pain.

  • Don’t drink alcohol before. It will thin your blood and can cause bleeding and bruising. This can bring on a lot of pain and even ruin your tattoo.

  • Drink water, staying hydrated to keep your skin supple and tight can reduce the pain of a tattoo.

  • Try a numbing product on your skin before getting your tattoo to reduce the amount of pain you experience. We carry highly rated, Painless Tattoo numbing cream at the shop. We recommend purchasing at your consultation since you'll need to apply the cream to the tattoo site 30-45 minutes before the procedure.

How Do You Determine Pricing?

Our tattoo services have an hourly rate for large tattoos and a set price for small tattoos. But don't you worry our artist is fast and considerate of your time.
During your consultation we'll review your design and give you an estimate of how long it will take to complete the tattoo. Low pain tolerance can have an effect on the timing, applying a numbing cream can assist with this.

Do You Provide After Care?

We will provide recommendations on tattoo aftercare products. Aftercare kit is provided with microblading services. Your technician will go over and provide all aftercare instructions.
When you leave the tattoo shop, your ink will look like great. The tattoo will fade over time. Always put sunscreen on it, especially in the summer, to keep the colors bright -- SPF 45 or higher is best.
And moisturize daily, especially if it’s on an area of your body, such as your hands, where it can fade quickly.

Microblading vs Combo?

Microblading is a form of cosmetic semi-permanent makeup performed using a manual disposable tool, composed with very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade. Each hair stroke drawn simulates your natural eyebrows. The artist seamlessly blends strokes with existing brows to add color and fullness resulting in a natural look.
Combo brows are a combination of microblading and powder brows (shading). Shading is achieved by using a device. This technique allows the brows to have a full and more define look.
